The 450hp Euro 6 compliant engine has a huge amount of power for driving large chippers, however previously these have all been permanently fixed to the chassis of the truck. This has meant the truck can only be used for chipping operations. Heizohack have designed a driveline system that takes 100% of the engine power through the Mercedes standard engine power take off and replicates a splined PTO shaft at the rear of the truck.
This means the truck can be used to power the most demanding machines of all types not just chippers.
The truck also has the cab customized to accommodate the large rear/side window to give fantastic visibility with top spec swivel chair and crane controls.
High power, high flow load sensing hydraulics mean large forwarder cranes can also be connected. Heizohack also can supply the Palfinger Epsilon cranes mounted to the truck which then makes the truck even more adaptable and means cranes do not need to be directly mounted solely to the chipper chassis.
