New Heizohack Truck Chipper

Heizohack have introduced a new truck chipper - the HM 14-800 KL Euro6. This highly mobile adaptation of Heizohacks legendary chipper technology makes a very effective and useful addition to the range. With a feed opening of 800mm high by 1215 mm wide, this powerful 3 motor machine has 14 blades and immense chipping capability. The chipper has been developed to be fitted on a Mercedes Benz AROCS 3345 AL 6X6, in this case also with a Palfinger Epsilon M80F101 feed crane. It was essential to develop both the chipper and the truck together to maximise working efficiency, ergonomics and operator safety and comfort.

The development and construction of the HM 14-800 K on the new Mercedes Arocs 3345 all-wheel-drive Euro6 (new emission standard of Europe) was a great challenge. The result is a high volume robust truck chipper ready to take on a variety of chipping tasks. Various innovations and advancements have been incorporated over previous truck chippers namely:


• the operator`s window surface was almost doubled to approx. 3m² laminated safety glass

• the chipping machine was equipped with a third cross-auger for the discharge of the wood chips

• an additional sieve was integrated in the rotor cover to get more power with less fuel consumption and more regular wood chips

• all the wear plates are exchangeable and were welded with a special wear wire

• LED spotlights for chipping operation at night

• continuously rotatable, spring-mounted and heatable operator seat

• all functions are operated out of the air-conditioned driver`s cabin

• the secondary functions of the chipper can be controlled via radio remote control

• the lorry provides a large storage compartment

• screen wiper with wiper and wash system

• optionally a cone splitter can be added

• and much more...


The drive is directly from the NMV-auxiliary drive and runs over a specially designed intermediate gear to the chipping machine.
