The JAPA skidding grapple is the right tool for efficient skidding and the close-range
transportation of logs. Together with the counter bolster, the three claws straighten the logs, which speeds up the transport and stacking operations. Owing to the articulated frame of the skidding grapple, the load follows the tractor’s movements, causing no damage to the growing tree stand. The articulated joint can be locked from the cabin.
The hydraulic swing to the side, which is available as an option, makes picking up of bunches from the drive track easier. The wide spread of the claws and the strong cylinder ensure good penetration of the claws into the woodpile.
