LAIMET
100
The LAIMET 100 is of lighter construction than the other two models
(LAIMET 120 and 130), with a maximum blade size of 1000 mm. Although
it lacks some of the more advanced features, the LAIMET 100 can
still saw with the same speed, flexibility, and accuracy as the
larger models.
The LAIMET 100 is ideally suited for part time sawing, and for
situations when it is not necessary to move the saw frequently.
The built-in sharpening device ensures fast and precise sharpening
without removal of the blade. The LAIMET 100 can be driven by
a tractor's hydraulics or by an electric motor.
The LAIMET 100 is available as a static or a mobile version. On
the mobile version, the wheels are left in position when sawing.
For transportation, the front section of the frame is unbolted
and placed on top of the main section.
LAIMET 120
The LAIMET 120 circular sawmill is the number one seller in the
LAIMET product range. It is a complete small-size sawmill with
the round log being converted into finished timber with minimum
handling. In larger sawmills, the LAIMET 120 can work effectively
in conjunction with edgers and resaws, or as the second saw connected
to a band mill or a frame saw for converting large diameter logs.
The LAIMET 120 is equipped with almost identical features as the
LAIMET 130, and has a lighter frame. The LAIMET 120 sawmill has
a hydraulically driven, toothed feed roller that is synchronized
to the table speed. The feed roller maintains it's drive and
speed despite uneven log surfaces. The Laimet 120 is normally
equipped with flipper bars within both sides of the table to eject
light material and a deflector arm to offload sawn timber as the
table returns. The wheel above the deflector arm supports heavy
slabs so that they can be brought back to the operator for further
sawing. The blade is properly guarded and the operator stands
well back from the sawing operation, making the Laimet sawmill
very safe.
LAIMET 130
The LAIMET 130 circular sawmill is the manufacturer's top of the
line model. It is a complete small-size sawmill with the round
log being converted into finished timber with minimum handling.
In larger sawmills, the LAIMET 130 can work effectively in conjunction
with edgers and resaws, or as the second saw connected to a band
mill or a frame saw for converting large diameter logs.
