Fuelwood European Dealership Expansion

Fuelwood continues its expansion into the European market with the appointment of a new dealer covering Belgium, Holland and the Netherlands. Espritt BVBA is located in Belgium and they are a well-established and highly experienced distributor of forestry equipment in the region. The addition of the Fuelwood range of kindling and firewood machines complements their existing products. It will enable them to provide a comprehensive one stop service to their existing customers, whilst also opening up new opportunities for them in the expanding kindling and firewood markets.

Dirk Allard is Espritt’s CEO and he recently came over to Fuelwood in Warwick to receive further product training and collect their first two demonstration machines. These were a Splitta 400, Fuelwood’s fully automatic high production log and kindling wood machine, plus also a Kindlet Pro, Fuelwood’s market leading top of the range high volume automatic kindling wood machine.

Fuelwood now have distribution across many of the main European markets. Plans are in place to further expand the network as soon as the right high quality distributors can be found. Large parts of Europe are prolific growers and users of wood as both a domestic and commercial energy source. Fuelwood found there were some differences between the European markets and the UK in terms of the popular sizes of kindling and firewood required. Never slow to spot an opportunity Fuelwood has modified its machinery to meet both the UK and European requirements. This has enabled them not only to sell into Europe but also to satisfy a growing UK demand for these sizes as European manufactured and specified wood burners are now more common in the UK.
