Over the week days of the 8th, 9th & 10th July, Fuelwood exhibited at the superb, and very hot, Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.
Fuelwood had a large stand with a very wide range of equipment on display “
It was like a mini Open Day” said Samantha Eales, General Manager of Fuelwood and stand manager. “
We not only had Fuelwood’s own firewood and kindling equipment on display, but various pieces from most of our other suppliers including AMR, Heizohack and Japa”.
Although not just a trade show, the level of activity on the stand was very high with numerous leads being taken and orders for equipment being placed. A guest appearance on the stand of Fuelwood’s now retired Chairman Richard Slatem was very timely as Fuelwood were given the accolade of being ‘T
he Best Forestry Trade Stand’ at the show.
Richard stepped into the sunshine to receive the award from David Carter of the Royal Forestry Society (RFS). The award included a £150 cash prize which Fuelwood have donated to the
British Heart Foundation.
