(Warwick) Limited has been a specialist in forestry and timber conversion
machinery since 1996. We design and manufacture our own brand of
machinery firewood production and we are also sole UK importers of Heizohack wood-fuel chippers, Uniforest firewood processors & winches,
AMR log splitters, FTG Moheda & Mowi. Based
at our 30 acre woodland site in Warwick.
Due to
increasing demand for our products we are expanding our service team and wish
to recruit an additional Sales Support Engineer to join our
small, skilled workforce.
This is a hands‑on role focused on supporting the sales team
through in‑depth knowledge of our machinery. Responsibilities include
demonstrating equipment to prospective customers, assisting with machine
deliveries, and carrying out on‑site installation, commissioning, and handover.
The role requires close involvement with customers to ensure machines are set
up correctly, operating as intended, and that users are confident in their
operation.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide pre‑ and post‑sales
technical support to customers, working closely with the Sales team to
understand customer requirements and deliver practical, effective solutions.

Prepare and set up machinery for demonstrations
and customer use, ensuring all equipment is presented safely, tidily, and
operating at its best.

Demonstrate machinery to customers, with a
strong understanding of functions, capabilities, limitations, and safe working
practices. Provide guidance on alternative Fuelwood-supplied machinery where
appropriate.

Carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) of
machinery prior to delivery, including basic servicing and preparation for
commissioning. Basic tools will be provided.
- Support the smooth delivery, installation, and
commissioning of machinery, with a working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical,
and tractor connections to ensure compatibility with customer equipment.

Accurately report progress, issues, and faults
to the Sales and Service teams, including customer feedback, future
requirements, and technical concerns relating to customer and Fuelwood
equipment or vehicles.

Set up, break down, and attend show stands,
exhibitions, and open days as required.

Manage the demonstration and used machinery
areas, including associated equipment such as tractors, diggers, trailers, and
company vehicles.

Carry out customer deliveries and collections of
machinery and equipment.

Complete
all required paperwork for deliveries, collections, and commissioning
activities.

Undertake
occasional overnight stays for longer‑distance deliveries or customer
visits.
Previous Experience required
-
Experience using and driving tractors, including
PTO, hydraulic, and hitch functions

Physically fit and comfortable working in a
hands‑on,
practical environment

Experience driving large vehicles and towing
heavy trailers
- Ideally hold an HGV Class 1 licence

European driving experience is an advantage

Experience lifting machinery using forklifts,
jibs, chains, and slings
- Competent in safe loading, securing, and
transportation of machinery and equipment
Full UK
driving license required as travel through UK will be required, additional Trailer,
HGV and forklift licenses would be an advantage
Good
communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential. Must be
able to work independently but also be a team player.
